Here is a brief history of this aircraft

Date
April 15, 1943 Shipped to Australia (see invoice)
Served with 78 Sqn. of the RAAF
August 14, 1943 Collided in flight with A29-413 while formation flying and sustained damage to the starboard wing and fuselage. Pilot Sgt Don Smyth ok and managed to land the aircraft back at Camden
April 20, 1944 (?) Collided with aircraft at Tadji strip causing extensive damage to the port wing and empennage
September 8, 1944 Approved for conversion at 12 RSU
1974 Retrieved from the jungle at New Guine
