Locate the part number In the Numerical Parts List and determine the page on which the part is to be found. Then turn to the page indicated by the Number Parts List and again find the part number. Preceding this number will be the figure number where the part Is shown, and the Index number which it bears on that illustration. Turn to the figure number specified and find the index number of the part. In this manner the location of the part, it' s attaching parts, and the part for which it is attached can be determined.

(B) To find the Illustration when the Part Number is not known: Find in the Table of Contents the pages which show the group in which the part is located. All figures in these pages will have to be searched until the picture of the part is found. After the index number of the part is determined from the illustration, turn to the Group Assembly Parts List breakdown for that particular figure, locate the index number of the part and find the part number required and all data necessary for procuring that part.
