On October 30, 2009 I took a weekend trip to Prauge. I was there for less than two days. The city was a beautiful as I thought it was going to be. Many of the coffee houses and restaurants where in an art-deco style. It is easy to imagine one's self sitting in a coffee house during the spring of 1968 and thinking and discussing how exciting the prospect of political freedom was. When I was there the weather was turning from fall to winter and it was quite cold. Some of the trees still had their fall colors and gave some of the back streets a romantic hue.
