1. Be sure the chocks have been removed and that there are no obstructions in front of you.

2. Use only enough power to start rolling.

3. Keep your canopy open.

4. Look out both sides, behind, and in front.

5. Taxi slowly, and when you taxi in a congested zone around the parking area, have someone at your wingtip

6. S continuously. Use steerable tailwheel as much as possible.

7. Brake intermittently; don't ride your brakes.

8. Hold the stick well back.

9. Keep both hands and feet on the proper controls.

10. Taxi at the minimum throttle setting-not under 1000 rpm.

11. For the pre-takeoff check, stop off the runway at an angle of about 45' to the runway so that rear and forward vision of the runway is unobstructed.

12. Test brakes while taxiing out. If one or both brakes are weak, return to the line.
