amount of fuel in the airplane. Move horizonataly to the right
or left and select a figure equal to or grater than the air miles
to be flown . Vertically below and opposinte desired crusing altitude
read optimum crusing conditions. Notes: (A) Avoid crusing in Column I except in an emergency. (B) Columns (II,III, IV & V) toward right progressively give increase
in range to scrifice speed. (C) Manifod preassure (M.P.). Gallons Per Hour (G.P.H.). are approximate
meximum values for refrence. (D)For quick refrence, take-off and military power data are listed
in the upper left corner of the chart. |
